About us

The Cyber Resilience Act (EU Regulation 2024/2847) introduces mandatory cybersecurity requirements for all products with digital elements (hardware or software) placed on the Union market. It applies to manufacturers, importers, and distributors, including companies in Ticino and outside the EU that sell products within the European market, and imposes obligations throughout the entire product lifecycle: from design (security by design) and vulnerability management to the timely notification of serious incidents and actively exploited vulnerabilities.

‍
The goal of this event is to provide participants with a clear and practical overview of the obligations imposed by the new regulation and to offer clarification on the specific constraints relevant to their own organizations.
To this end, after an initial session presenting the general principles and requirements of the regulation applicable to all companies (such as which types of companies are subject to the regulation, which deadlines are already in effect, and the penalties for non-compliance), a second session will examine the application of the regulation through specific case studies, helping you understand the steps necessary to begin an effective compliance process within your organization.
During the second part of the meeting, you will have the opportunity to have a private 10-minute consultation with a Security Lab advisor to review a personalized compliance plan for your organization and your products.

‍
Those who would prefer to request a subsequent free meeting at their company premises or via video conference can attend the plenary session, where general examples of application will be provided.

Target audience

Executives and directors (CEO, COO, etc.) responsible for IT/OT and Security (CIO, CTO, CISO), Production, Engineering/R&D, Product Management/Development, as well as heads of Legal, Risk Management, and Compliance departments at medium to large-sized companies that manufacture, integrate, import, or distribute products with digital elements (hardware, software, connected devices).
