The awareness of companies and institutions about the characteristics of multidimensionality and multidisciplinarity of the skills necessary to combat digital risks, is now established.

Companies are in fact used to looking at their attack surface from outside and from within the perimeter to find vulnerabilities that may expose them to cyber risks, through Penetration Test activities at the level of infrastructure, applications and human resources.

Often, however, they do not consider exposure to external threats such as information leaks, credentials to access systems, domains similar to legitimate ones (used or usable to clone services or design phishing campaigns) and a whole series of information that can be found on social networks, on the dark web and in other places frequented by cybercriminals with the intention of exchanging data useful for carrying out attacks against companies.

For this reason, we talk more and more about Threat Intelligence. Also management systems and safety standards such as the new ISO 27001 And the NIST 2 (National Institute of Standards and Technology) -recently published- have introduced these concepts into their 'controls'.
