In the last period, we have been witnessing a close succession of new regulations and regulations for data and information security; at the same time, higher security expectations come from the market. This is certainly due to the evolution of digital technologies and cyber threats, which in the current context of increasingly pervasive digitalization and interconnection between systems, extend dangers along the entire value chain and also at systemic and country levels. Improving the level of cybersecurity has therefore become a categorical imperative for all companies, forced to adopt new cybersecurity governance models to comply with regulations and compete in the market.

After a brief overview of the new laws and regulations on cybersecurity, data protection and the operational resilience of organizations, we will go into the merits of the matter, focusing on specific regulatory requirements for companies and obligations along the customer-supplier chain.
Emphasis will be placed on the need to build a 360° “management and control model” of cybersecurity in the company and on the specific investments that are necessary in technologies, organization and people to ensure an adequate level of security and full regulatory compliance.
To provide practical and concrete examples of organizations that are already facing the adjustment process, real cases will be presented.
