New LPD: only four months to adapt... Here's what to do, basically!

Last week, the interview with Siro Migliavacca, Director and Partner of Security Lab Advisory Sagl, an expert in the field of data protection, was published on TIO.ch.
The interview deals with the topic of the new data protection law (LPD) and provides useful information on what companies, bodies and all other organizations must do to adapt to the new regulations.

“The most important 'structural' innovation of the new LPD consists in the need for the company to apply a new approach to the management of privacy and the protection of personal data: it is no longer sufficient to adopt only common measures to protect data confidentiality, but it is necessary to organize itself both to ensure complete respect for the rights of individuals regarding the processing of their personal data, and to effectively guarantee 360° data security, including not only the protection of confidentiality, but also others aspects of data security, namely their integrity and availability.”
