The entry into force of the new Federal Data Protection Act (LPD) and the next cantonal legislation (LPDP) has prompted many companies to adapt to ensure the security of the data processed. In addition, the recent update of the LSin, the new federal regulations for critical sectors, European regulations such as the AI Act, DORA and NIS2, are introducing new obligations for Ticino companies, especially in relation to supply chain management, incident management and notification, and the governance of cybersecurity by Management.
