In recent times, we have witnessed a worrying evolution of cyber risks and, at the same time, a rapid succession of new regulations and rules for cybersecurity, operational continuity, and data protection, and - last but not least - an exponential increase in market demand for security.

All of this is certainly due to the evolution of digital technologies and cyber threats which, in the current context of increasingly pervasive digitalization and interconnected systems, extend dangers throughout the entire value chain.

For all companies, it has now become a categorical imperative to improve their cybersecurity level and update their governance systems: to comply with new regulations and meet increasingly challenging customer demands, in order to compete effectively in the market.

The main objective of the Workshop is to provide companies with guidance on improving their cybersecurity level through the implementation of specific technical-organizational measures and new cybersecurity governance models.

After a brief overview of the evolution of cyber attacks, new laws and regulations on cybersecurity, data protection, and organizations' operational resilience, the workshop will delve into the subject matter, focusing on the need to build within the company a "360-degree management and control model" for cybersecurity and on the investments necessary to ensure an adequate level of security and full compliance with international certification standards (ISO 27001 and others). Investments in technology, people, and organization.

The second part of the Workshop will give a direct voice to businesses: some representatives will share experiences, challenges, and concrete approaches to Cybersecurity Governance.
